  1. Exchanged pneumonia and pulmonary congestion leads to a fundamental change in how gas is in the lungs. The gas is replaced by structures called alveoli. They are microscopic sacs of epithelial tissue. When these bags are known with fluid (consildation filled) gas can move from the cell into the blood. To prevent that, the gas exchange and the patient usually work harder to breathe.
