Which type of fire extinguisher has least health risks? Excluding foam extinguishers.? - types of fire extinguishers
We're doing something for an independent film with a fire extinguisher that the smoke and the players who have some exposure to this product would result. It really is fire though.
What type of fire extinguisher would be operated safely, of course, with the exception of the foam. CO2? Water (no water sprinklers to create a kind of smoke)?

Water extinguishers are very safe, but only to a jet or water (like a pipe), not a cloud. In addition, there is a danger in using these electronic devices through the crowd.
ReplyDeleteWe used CO2 fire extinguisher for all our special effects work. They produce a thick fog in the operation, which gradually cleared, leaving no residue. If he is not directly intended to bare skin because it no harm (the cloud itself is no problem, but the gas that comes from the horn of the discharge is very cold) can cause frostbite. He warned, however, these fire extinguishers, so loud that you can try real players are ready for download.
Also note that the actor or technician with a fire extinguisher must consider the instructions on the unit, normally warnings against holding the Horn of downloads directly because of the great cold.
I recommend that others do not in any fire extinguishers. Halon and dry powder devices produce a cloud, but Halon is toxic and in most countries where prohibited by an environmental impact assessment. Dr.and non-toxic dust, but leaves a big mess of powder residue.
The only other type of foam extinguisher is often found, it is obviously not much unless you want a bubble bath on the stage.
Hope this helps.
